Slow day... I was browsing at a local lawn & garden equipment store and saw a display of Kawasaki oil in various viscosities. I've seen it mentioned, but never tried it.

I've been using Rotella T5, but this is priced similarly (I saw only qt bottles) and is a syn blend like T5. It's also API SL. The 10w30 is what my Toro push mower calls for, but they've also got a 10w40 which I thought I might try to see if there's any difference (although I doubt I'd notice any)... There's also 20w50 and 30w.

Anyway, I just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone had used it or if there were any negative opinions? Any major difference from other lawn mower oils? Since a lot of the diesel oils have gone to CK/SN, this looked like a good option. Thoughts? Opinions?

Just know that it's a syn-blend and they indicate higher zinc. I will be using it for one OCI during break-in on a large new Kawi.
