I think they are all good. Have used strictly PHM and M1 HM in most of the vehicles at home.
For my jeep specifically PHM has always given my jeep cold start lifted tick no matter what the temperature was. Decided I got tired of it after 3 years and switched to M1 HM. So far M1 HM has silenced the lifter tick so much that it doesn't happen on cold start, even in the winter months. So it has for the time being won my favor. Yet my father's 4.0 WJ has run strictly PHM 10w30 for the last 8 years (even in cold sub freezing temps in here in PA) and does not make a peep. The same for our F150 5.4. It runs smooth on PHM 5w20 all year round.
