MS project 2013

Hi!

I have created mpp file in MS project 2013 and after several edits and saving, I tried to open the file and got an error "Project cannot open the file". I have tried reinstall Project...the same result. I tried googling and I can't seem to find an answer.
So my question is, could anyone suggest mpp file viewer?
Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this.

"...creating a new blank project and then clicking Project > Subproject.
In the Insert Project dialog, select the project you cannot open, DESELECT the Link to Project checkbox, and then click the Insert button.
If this works, you have recovered your project data. If not, you must revert to the backup."

Worth a try, anyway.

The best option for you is to recover it from backup if you have one, even if this means losing some edit.Other than that, you could try opening it on another PC (works sometimes) or you could try creating a new project and inserting the corrupt one into it. There's also an app which allow to open the Project files https://www.viewertool.com/mppviewer.html
