allright ive got a 2010 triumph speed triple, bought it in aug 09 i think. it only has 4200 miles on it(i suck i know). i probley dont need to change it but im going to. the problem is i dont know what to put in it. my local triumph dealer isnt great, so im on my own. my owners manual says very little, it just says to use mobil antifreeze and that it must be good for aluminum engines.

it also says the bike should have blue coolant from the factory, however the stuff thats in there is neon green.

the service manual also says mobil, but nether book gives a spec.

ive never seen mobil coolant, anywhere.

i just changed coolant in my acura and i used zerex asian car coolant, is this stuff good for the bike? it would be nice to have 1 type of coolant to keep in my stock. also since the bike only uses .63 gal im open to suggestions for better coolants if they exist.

You need to get the factory coolant from a dealer. Do not mix them.

If your OEM coolant is dark green, then it is Triumph branded HD4X Hybrid OAT. Compatible with OAT G-05 specced coolants.

If yours came from the factory with blue coolant, then it has 50/50 ethylene glycol solution.

Better check with your dealer or check your owners manual.

Just make sure you get all of the old coolant out if you switch.
