#197 has a clay (bentone) thickener. It must not be used in contact with any grease with a "conventional" thickener like lithium, lithium complex, aluminum complex, etc. When used in a clean bearing or with other clay base greases it is OK with a higher max temperature than "conventional" greases. If you don't really need it, don't bother with it.
