Another filter from member Loi. Looks like a gold mine inside or something going south or....

Is the gold magnetic? Is there a loose cadmium plated bolt banging around the crankcase? Brass isn't used much anymore.

Didn't check with magnet. Yeah, lots of "gold dust" there; look at drain pan

Are you sure that's an STP-branded filter?

It's a typo - - it says "Zero SP".... not STP

Yes - that much metal means "something" in the engine is DEFINITELY failing!!!

Zero/sports claims there is an internal magnet in their filters as well. Do you see where they placed the magnet at?

I didn't see one inside filter to be very honest
