I was going to order ZFX, Z2, and Z5 from Zaino, but I have a question. How important is it to have the Z6? I don't think I've really ever used detailing sprays, unless that is what comes with clay bars because I've used those when claybaring. Just wanted to know what everyone thinks.

The Z6 is my favorite product they have. Well worth it. Everytime you wash the car, hit it with the Z6 to maintain the look. It's great stuff. Goes on and off so easy.

Go ahead and get the Z6 and use it between coats of Z2 and/or Z5. It is completely different than other detailing sprays. You DON'T want to use Z6 as a lubricant for clay barring. Zaino recommends Z7 (car wash soap) for a clay lubricant.

As far as Z6 goes, the best way that I can describe it is that it really gives the paint a bright sparkle...and it's is soo easy.

DR,

I don't remember where I picked this hint up (maybe the instructions?), but I use the Z6 to very lightly dampen the Zaino application pad occasionally to assist getting the micro thin application rate they recommend.

Try the new Z8 sometime, it outshines Z6.

I cut Z6 50/50 with distilled water, per Zaino's optional instructions. Makes it last a bit longer on my large truck.

Make sure you order everything at once from Zaino, because they have flat-rate shipping.

The Z-6 is a better fingerprint and such remover.
The Z-8 is a great sealer with a bit better shine and doesn't clean as well.
Both have their uses and do them well.
