LOL, too much misinformation out there, its his choice to do whatever to his car, the "stop leak" or the transmission oil doesn't make any sense to me, he might as well use 10w40 High Mileage oil, which will be more beneficial for his type of logic.

LOL this guy says in his youtube video comments section, that it took him 3 years to come up with the right blend because he is a perfectionist, perfect has a new meaning now...

"Performed Perfectly", aka the new terminology for "nothing blew up".

He should have added some powdered graphite, or half a tub of borax.

lol the frankenbrew on BITOG is still cool but what he did and then called it perfect for his car, that killed me inside a little.

You all can bash him if you want, but he made it clear in the first 20 seconds that this was "his mix" and he "was not recommending it for you", and "you should decide for yourself what you use". He called it "his disclaimer".

Why can't it simply be accepted as he verbalized it, as just his opinion for his vehicle?

Croc clogs....
Pouring a thimbles worth of Stop leak back in the bottle.
They still make STP?
Pouring the additives in, in a circular motion.......

I'm actually sad now.

because this is BITOG and its our duty to correct misinformation! at least I think so.

I love hearing the phrases "I think" and "from what I'm told" when being instructed what makes someone's vehicle run "perfectly" and "like a brand new car." Yeah, "told" by the counter jockey at Autozone, who doesn't even know what the W stands for in motor oil ("sure I do, it's weight").

This is why some of the first questions I ask when buying a used car are about maintenance history and documentation.

Sure, it's his opinion. But why else would it be posted for all to see other than to convince people to try it?

3:33 than ???

in his climate (south Florida) running that thick "should be" fine. i think it's more a testament to the Robustness of the 4.6 Modular(looks to be a crown Vic), it will go to 3-400k mi on the most basic of maintenance.

HA!

That's funny

He went to great lengths to present a clear disclaimer. He stressed it was "for him" and "not for you". With that in mind, what about his freedom of expression? Did he really say anything that would cause a catastrophic problem?

His mix (while needless) is essentially harmless, and its far far less dangerous than some of the information I have come across from individuals in this forum through the years.

Lets cut the guy some slack!

Don't you know anything? It's very important not only that the additives are introduced in a circular motion, but also that the direction of rotation is correct if one is to achieve optimum performance.
