Your Watch Lume Pictures

Ever wonder what they'll wear once they make it back there? G-Shock is most likely because of budgetary reasons and durability.
I think a lot of them wore (and probably still do) the Gold Speedmasters that they were given by Omega. Saw a recent picture of Aldrin, was still wearing a stainless Speedy. I would believe they would be somewhat attached to them given the history. The NASA inventoried Speedmasters that have actually
"Flown" are bringing insane money.

In a little over two years we will find out as long as all goes according to schedule.

I'll get some pics this afternoon when the bedroom gets dark enough. I have 5 watches with good lume. Once put my Omega Seamaster c.2007 up against the Erebus Origin overnight, the Omega won but close. Pic below is a Seiko 5KX green camo dial, modded with lumed ceramic bezel. This pic was in my computer. Sorry, its a bit out of focus.

Seiko has been using LumiBrite since the mid-'90s. LumiBrite and Luminiova are essentially identical and we're created by the same three Japanese scientists for Nemoto. SuperLuminova came out a few years later and was a product licensed exclusively to a Swiss Company, RC Tritec AG. Rolex developed Chromalight in the late 2000s which is also a strontium aluminate-based material. It has some other compounds added. It glows in a blue hue very similar to SuperLuminova BGW9.

All modern lume is similar. How bright and how long it glows depends mostly on the number of layers of lume that has been applied. Other than the traditional green we have blue, white, yellow, orange, red, and purple lume. Green and blue tend to look the brightest. SuperLuminova C3 is still the brightest lume as far as I know. Blue lume like BGW9 last a little longer before fading. Any modern lume can last 8 hours with sufficient application.

Not a watch but an orienteering compass that is worn on a wrist strap and that can be attached to a NATO alongside a watch. Also good for snorkeling Very legible in the dark. The new version looks a bit different.

Does anybody here have a watch with a fully lumed dial? I don't.
