+1 But my list is somewhat different.

For a long time it was Havoline(before DS), then Castrol GTX. Then Motorcraft came along with syn blend 5W20 Jug, a great value for Hondas.

Last stash was on sale, 5w20, 5w30 Valvoline Conv (excellent UOA) and some MaxLife syn blend jugs.

Recently purchased some Quaker State GB jugs. One exception, I'm going to try some QS Horsepower Synthetic, which is only $.50 more a jug than ST syn jug.

Sears 20w-20 bought in bulk out of their service bays, in tanks marked with the grade, and hand pumps, in my own container. Why, because I was happy with it, drove cross country with it, and mainly it brings back memories of simpler times when everything wasn't about making a buck on everything.

You mean cars.
2001 King Ranch F150 14K on oil 103K on vehicle.
2001 Audi A6 4.2 V8 12K on oil 85K on vehicle.
2002 Sentra SE-R SPEC V 11K on oil 75K on vehicle.
2000 Volvo S80 Turbo 13K on oil 108K on vehicle.

GC because it meets my BMWs specs and it can go a long time in the crankcase (though NOT 15,000 miles) and it shows great wear numbers in lots and lots of the UOAs. Plus, it's reasonably priced and readily availible.

What I have in my cars.

2001 Malibu, Supertech Synthetic.
2003 Pontiac Mini Van, Mobil-1 0W30.

What I like. Castrol GTX, put in an 91 Oldsmobile that I owned, and now my niece has it and she abuses the car in Michigan, but still going strong (2009). Castrol GTX made engine run smoother and lasted longer without engine hesitating. Castrol price is not right after they won the law suit over Mobil-1, so I do not buy it.

Formula Shell has been my favorite for the past couple of years. It's name brand, reasonably priced, and widely available around here. I can grab a quart at the corner Shell station if I need a quart for top-off.

Mobil-1 Synthetic! Been using it for years, it's been out even before the days when "Synthetic Oils" became vogue & Popular!........All others are copy CATS!......

My favorite is the Schaeffer's. Green is > than purple.
I've only used the 7000, but the 9000 seems to have even more of the "goodies."

Can't forget the VSOT. My favorite oil additive. It has been long discontinued, but a fellow Bitoger sent me 60+ bottles of the stuff.

Mobil Clean 7500 - seems to do well in my car, lasts 6k miles, and I was able to get 150 quarts at $0.95 a quart...and I drive 1k miles a week so the $$$ add up quick.

Regards,
GEWB

Amsoil 5w-30, 0w-20 15w-40 diesel/marine oil. I like to run it close to 1 year intervals.....miles vary some 8-18K range.

Super Tech oil and filters for Auto-RX runs.......
