I was working in my yard and this guy in his truck stopped in front of my house having truck trouble..
I yelled you need help? You need anything ? He said yea you got a hammer? I thought how is he gonna fix his truck with a hammer? So I walk over with a hammer, he hops in the back of his truck and he had a square hole cut in the bed with a cutting torch so he could wack his top gas tank mounted fuel pump with a hammer when standing in the bed of his truck.
His truck started as he said thanks man, I forgot my hammer...
So one needs a hammer...

The guy that built and then serviced my pool for thirty years only appeared to have two hand tools. A pair of big Channellocks and a big screwdriver. He had lots of excavation equipment and gas powered concrete saws but few hand tools. His son later took over the business and later on, the grandson joined in. Throughout, they appeared to use that same pair of channellocks and same screwdriver. It's all about what you know.
