Better off getting stung by the yellow jackets than working with brake cleaner without full PPE

A very little known secret for when you are being attacked by bees; get into some shade. This especially works with honey bees. Does not work so well in the desert.

I had a nest of small bees behind some outdoor steps.. Could not get to the actual nest. I could see the opening between pieces of the wood steps where the bees went in and out. First attempt was to use popsicle sticks to "spoon" some Sevin dust into the opening. I think it slowed things down but not completely gone. Next was an aerosol can of termite and carpenter bee spray. It's got a 8" flexible hose and foam comes out. Squired that into the opening at 4 AM and that was the end.

Don't kill bees! What the heck??

Well I cannot say they were bees. Just that they were smaller than normal honey bee or yellow jacket or wasp.

Wife was getting stung walking up the stairs to the house.

I was using "bee" as a generic term for a flying insect that stings.
Ok a lot of people do that. Man as aggressive like that, some form of wasp/yellowjacket comes to mind.
