For the money, you got yourself a decent guitar.
My advice is to quickly ditch light gauge strings for mediums. I like D'Addario Phosphor Bronze. The guitar will sound better, the strings will stay in tune longer, and last longer, and counterintuitively(until you think about it) the action will improve.
You will also play better, faster.
