Off a 2014 Honda pilot with roughly 100k miles.
initial oil was Rotella Gas Truck 0w20 and then half way through Mobil 0w30 ESP.
I thought this was the good ole Fram ultra but obviously its a new POS.
No gasket material between bypass valve and filter.
Media was wavy like a WIC.
And it torn easily with one finger.
7/21/2022?

Sep 28 2022. Manufactured almost exactly a year after First Brands announced they had improved the Ultra.
FB and their hype fest! Amazing that some members here actually believe their propaganda… so much for “25,000 mile filter”! Compare this one to the 73,000 mile XG7317 from @Dave Hess on here, to see the difference between an OG Ultra & the “new & ‘UN’ improved” one!

Only half the interval on that filter on a Honda & it came out like that. Won't have to worry about the Pentius. Glad to hear it didn't tear in service though.
