wrong diff. lube

I added M1 LS to a non limited slip front diff. Is this a problem? It is the correct weight.

I use M1 LS 80/90 gear lube in mine too. As long as the gear lube meets the OEM spec your alright.

As long as you don't have a GM truck with a G80 locking diff you are OK. GM says no limited slip additive for the truck locking differential.

LOL, i just realized i did the same. I have a open AWD rear diff on my G35 and i just looked at the bottles i bought and it had the Mobil 1 LS, i already put 10k on it....
