Would you use this filter?

I buy my filters bulk, went to change my oil and saw this.

Filter on the right, would you use it?(See Glue)

I've seen a few like that, and when I took it back off of the engine after the OCI, the glue was still there. Should be fine

Some of the lower-tiered filters Champion-made filters (ie. SuperTech) had exposed glue similar to your pic. I think it'll be okay to use.

Sure, worst that could happen is it'd go in one of the "in-holes" and get filtered.

I have seen this sort of thing before on an ultra I previously used on my moms car.

Use with confidence, but IF it'll help you sleep better at night...then exchange it for a different filter.

I had a Fram filter with the same adhesive squeeze-out. I was told by the Fram rep who posts here (Motorking) that it is normal and harmless. That was good enough for me.
