Alot of the dealers near me are offering free tires or free oil changes for life (Some will give you both) I like to change my oil, and I don't trust dealer work. I don't know if I would take them or not, would you?

Instead of the free oil changes for a new vehicle I ask for more oil filters. Every dealer I've asked has provided quite a few.
I don't go to the dealership for ANYTHING other than warranty work (if needed).

Nope, I do myself, its no big deal to me.
Do you currently do your own oil changes and are you picky about tires, or do you just go with whatever is cheapest?
Most car owners don't change their own oil and I am appalled at the cheap, no-name tires I see on decent (non-beater) cars, so for many folks, the offer of free oil changes and free tires is a no-brainer.
Now, if you care about what oil and filter gets used in your car, and you're willing to pay a hundred bucks more for a set of good tires over the cheapest ones you can find in a size close to what is required, then this offer means nothing to you.
If you are like most car owners and figure that oil is oil and tires are tires, then this is a compelling offer.
I liked Bill's idea of asking for free oil filters in lieu of accepting the free changes.
You can then use whatever oil strikes your fancy as well as better than DOT minimum spec tires.
You can also always find deals on good tires, oil and filters.
Finally, why not ask for an additional discount in exchange for forgoing the freebies?
First, ask the salesperson or F&I guy what they value the freebies at, and then ask for that much off the agreed selling price.
Worth a try, and it's always fun to see a dealer employee look as though they'd just swallowed a lemon.

I would and take my own prefered oil/synthetic with me and have them do the rest.

My Hyundai Dealer offers that "deal". I am taking them up on it no matter how bad I don't want to. They use GTX SynBlend and change at 3750mi. Since it is at 3750 I am going for it. Everything will be documented for warranty purposes so that is a plus.
If they were only offering 7.5-10K free changes I wouldn't go for it.
I just used the VR1 to flush the factory fill at 600mi.

Depends. If I knew that they were using quality oil and filters I probly would. But if the oil just comes out of a drum with no name I wouldn't.
Depends on the work the dealer does. If your happy with their work then I'd probably say yes but with iffy techs, I'd do it myself.
When I bought my E430 in 2000, it had free maintenance for 4 years/50k miles. I had 4 oil changes and tire rotations, 2 brake flushes, 1 coolant flush, 1 engine air cleaner, 1 cabin air filter. They used Mobil 1 0W40 with OEM Mann oil filter for oil change and other filters (air and cabin) were OEM too. Car washed after service was done and free car rental for 1 day while it was in service.

That is right: nothing is actually free. He's paid for those "free" oil changes, so he might just as well use them. How bad could any dealer oil be? Just make sure they have really refilled the oil, and you will be good to go.

Down here alot of dealers who offer that do not change the oil every time when you take it in unless you stay with the car every second..I know a few people who got their car back with the same dirty oil in it..They just drove it around the back and put it out front again 20 minutes later..They never even opened the hood.

I wouldn't let a stealership within 50' of my stuff!
Rarely do dealers offer free oil changes where I live, especially Ford dealers. When I bought my 2002 F-150 new I paid the dealer to change the oil, it was less than $20. They used bottled Motorcraft 5W-20 & the Motorcraft FL820S filter, No complaints about that. However after a few years I when I started changing my own oil for convenience I found out they damaged the threads on the plug. Luckily the threads in the pan were ok. Cost me $7 for a new plug. Now I do my own mainly, if not I take it to my local mechanic, I supply the oil & filter.

If it was really free they would give you the filters and oil for free and let you do it yourself at home...

Friend of mine had this offer. He then found out that he had to get an alignment EVERY 5000 MILES. Man, thats a lot of expensive alignments in order to get "free tires".
Another story. A local dealer was offering "free oil changes' and "free tires for life". Well, the dealership got sold. No more free anything. Customers complained, and some kind of resolution was worked out, but if your dealership goes under, or gets sold, no more free oil or tires.

The Toyota dealer that my mom bought her Rav4 from offers this and she has been taking advantage of it since it was new, now it has 35k miles on it.
They use a Toyota filter, and I guess Toyota 5w20 oil. I don't know what kind though for sure and it doesn't really matter its a Toyota it will run forever on anything, more so since she brings it back every 3k miles. Even the cheapest oil in the world these days works fine for 3k miles.
