Would you eat "lab grown" meat?

I'd need that to be proven safe but in theory it would be perfect. Even if it was a chuck cut it should be super soft but I'm weary of it and would like for a food lab to find any and all chemicals and other things used in it.
 
I'm not really against eating it. Never had any though.
Many of the industrial meat production practices aren't really worth keeping either IMO, and I believe the meat processing industry relies on terrible working conditions to keep prices low, isn't really a great thing either.
If we had small family farms, and local slaughter houses and butchers, in every small town, and everyone getting paid fairly, then I would say no to industrial meat.
 
Maybe not the 1st generation meats. I'm sure eventually it will be engineered to be tastier and healthier than the real stuff, but probably not for a long time.
 
Hate to break it to anyone, but if you eat out regularly, chances are you have eaten cultured meat.
It's only been approved for just under 2 years now. There are no large scale production plants I know of. According to Grok3, most of what's available now is either overseas or available in specific settings, like 'taste testing'
