Would you be caught dead on a Honda Grom?

Fixed? More like ruined...you must get your excitement by sittin' in a Lazy Boy...:ROFLMAO:
Reading an excellently written book can definitely be exciting, and that does happen in a Lazy Boy. The subject was fun, not exciting. But the same applies either way. Anyone who needs the possibility of changing their shorts to consider something fun has serious maturity or psychological issues. Or both.

That's what they said about the first person to try out a zip line...😁

Funny story about an encounter I had with a guy on a Grom. I was approaching a secondary road I always take to access other back roads when I go riding, and a guy on a Grom was turning down the same road from the opposite direction. There were 3 or 4 cars in front of me while I was waiting to turn left, and by the time I turned, the guy on the Grom was about 1/4 of a mile down the road in front of me. I'd say he was doing about 45, then the devil on my shoulder made a better case than the angel on my other shoulder and I twisted the right grip on my VTR to the stop. By the time I passed the guy on the Grom I was doing about 110. I'm sure he had to go home and change is underwear, and redo his man bun...I'm also sure he was calling me every name in the book...
Cool story, bro.... 🙄

Last night the wife and I took a maiden voyage on the 40 year old Yamaha CV80 and had a blast. Most people wouldn't be caught dead doing that.. so yes I would be caught dead on a Grom. Sounds like fun and probably a little faster than the CV80 😅

Have to add the CV80 to your signature. :)

My friends Grom during our local Sport Bike meet up...

Not a Grom, but close with a Benelli TNT135. I rode it for two seasons (750 miles). Sold it to get a small bike that would do 60 mph up a hill (KTM 390 Duke). A buddy said I looked like a circus bear on a bicycle :) Ha

No they are not.

I have frying pans that are cooler than a Corolla. Just say'n.

As another Small Bore rider I can relate to this and tell you exactly what the Grom Rider experienced.
- No, he did not have to change his underwear. He is used to that immature "ricer" behavior from other entitled riders.
- He likely chuckled to himself with a thought: "Lol, another dumb donkey compensating for something."
There are a lot of good riders out there. Even on my tiny scoot I get waves from Harley and other big cruiser bikes, and sport bikes alike. Just learn from them. Don't be a disrespectful bad apple of the two-wheel world. Ride on @grampi, but never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly. ✌️

Too funny! That is exactly the same line of thought I had.

Just yesterday, I was chatting with a friend, who owns a local hardware store. He has owned and raced all kinds of bikes in his lifetime, and has had about every thrill one can have on a motorcycle. But to him, size and displacement isn't what makes a great bike.

He had parked his most recent bike, a Kawasaki Ninja 400, in the back of his store, and we were chatting about it. He bought it because it is unique in the motorcycle world. This country is littered with 750 - 1000 cc rice rockets. But this little Ninja 400 is unique. And he is having a riot on it.

Hell ya I would, I'll ride any bike and have fun doing in.

I've owned most sytles of bikes including a Turbo Hayabusa that was daily driven, a 7 second prostreet turbo ZX14, etc and some of the most fun I've had on 2 wheels has been on silly stuff like scooters and pocket bikes.

Currently I'm enjoying dual sport bikes but who knows what's next. I almost bought a KE100 a couple weeks ago but someone beat me to it lol.
