Goodyear Integrity/Eagle LS/Eagle GA
Dunlop SP Sport 4000, I can't believe Toyota used a [censored] tire on a minivan that can cost up to $45K fully loaded, even my Ugg slippers have more traction than those
Michelin Energy MXV4s, any variant just because they suck in the rain.
Toyo Spectrum/800 Ultra - short, short, short lived...
 
Dunlop SP4000--came on my 05 Sienna. Bad choice for a heavier front wheel drive vehicle, which are hard on tires anyway. Rounded shoulders when new. Showed even more shoulder wear almost immediately. Got 15K out of them and chucked em. HORRIBLE in the snow---can't go, can't stop. Slippery when wet. 2nd choice--Goodyear wranglers from a few years ago. Rode like c*** and didn't grip that well. Worst riding tire I have ever bought. Most underrated tire for an SUV IMO---Continental sports. Decent mileage, quiet ride and good snow traction for a highway tread.
 
it's funny when even Costco tells you to up the PSI on these cars, the Costco in Concord, CA put 38 in these tires when Toyota called for 35. And my Lexus calls for 30, Costco upped it to 35.
 
Goodyear Wrangler RT/S that came standard on my Dodge Dakota.Second Choice Toyo Open Country All-Terrain.
 
Capital Negotiator's. the previous owner put them on my Volvo. the factory tyres were Pirelli P-Zero Rosso, alight downgrade. these tires howl on the highway, they give up grip with hardly any steering effort. in their defence, the wear is decent. they will be replaced by BFG KDW2 or Michelin PS2 as soon as i wear them down with burnouts.
 
Worst tires I ever had were a set of Toyo Proxes TPT's on my Mustang. They might have lasted 30,000Km and were down past the wear bars. The set of generic Goodyears that were on there previously were half-worn when I bought the car and still went further than that.

Best and worst tires (per vehicle)
1. F-250:
Best: Toyo Open Country H/T's. Great ride quality, awesome traction in snow, mud....etc.
Worst: Goodyear "hockey pucks", I don't know what they were, but they bounced like indian rubber balls, and were as hard as plastic. 8-ply or not, they were still [censored].

2. Explorer:
Best: Michelin LTX MS's.
Worst: Some no-name tire that the Honda dealership (yes, I bought a Ford at a Honda dealership) put on it. They ALL had broken belts in less than 50,000Km.

3. Town Car:
Best: Yokohama ???, they are an older tire, big "lightning bolt" pattern on them. Got them used for free and pretty worn. They are still going after two years and I am amazed at how they have held up. Also grip like epoxy.
Worst: Michelin Arctic Alpin snows. I cannot get over how fast these things wear!!!!!!

4. Mustang:
Best: BFG Comp VR-4's, they were actually a friend of mine's but we swapped wheels one summer. Great traction, strong wear.... Just a very good tire.
Worst: Toyo Proxes TPT as stated in the beginning.

had these tires on my jeep cherokee when i turned 16... THEY SUCK for a fella that has a 4wd jeep and the [censored] tires wear down tooo [censored] fast!
 
Pirelli P6 Four Seasons that came with my '06 Audi A3. A bubble developed at < 1000 miles and then at 12,000 miles they became so loud that I had to change them at 15,000 miles just to save my ears and sanity.
 
I've come to the conclusion anything made in America is pure garbage.
I've had firestone,bridgestone,michelin,kelly,and a few others that were on used cars I bought,and they all wore quickly,were susceptible to punctures and terrible in the rain.

The last few sets of tires were falken,yokohama and my winter tires are hankook w 409's which are the best winter tires I've ever owned,was like having four wheel drive.

FWIW, every set of Goodyears I've had have been pure garbage. I have no way of knowing if they were original equipment type tires or if they were purchased from a tire retailer, but every set I've had has had at least one tire that's developed a thumping sound and had to be replaced. I've had much better luck with Kumho tires.
 
+1 on the goodyears from the last post. I have not been pleased with any goodyears I have bought over the years. But the worst tire I have ever had were the Dunlop SP4000 that came on my Sienna. They come from the factory with no shoulder tread and on a heavy front wheel drive van, that is a recipe for quick wear. Plus two of them were unbalanceable. I chucked them at 20,000 miles. Horrible OEM choice by Toyota.
 
I don't recall the model of the tire but I had problems with Michelin Tires over the years and as a result will never buy them again. I am currently having issues with Kelly tires on my Aerostar and will probably end up [censored] canning them after about 35,000 miles, with a good amount of tread left. Cord separation and a thump in a tire.

Years ago I went back to the dealer where I bought the Michelin Tires complaining about a thump after about 15,000 miles. I was given a cock and bull story about why the tire was bad, and the bottom line was they wouldn't make good on the warranty. I heard something to the effect that I could have hit a pot hole and damaged the tire. Writing to the company got me nowhere either.

Good year Integrity's that were stock on our 05 Grand Caravan, they were the worst tires I've ever had, terrible traction even in light snow, they were supposed to be 50,000 mile tires (I believe) I got rid of them after 35,000 miles because they were not safe IMO.

2) Those may be the Yoko Y370 - I liked mine too.
 
I have used Dunlop SP300E (OEM on Aussie camry's)
Toyo Transas Teo (eco)
Goodyear Ducaro

The dunlops were average.

Toyo's were really good, nice reinforcement at the side of the tread, and I think long-lasting if rotated correctly on my FWD (which chews the front's like nothing else).

Goodyears, well, for what they cost me I am having some issues with them. Blocks on the side of the tread are feathering - the edge feels sharp as you run your hand around the tyre in the direction the road would hit it.

I have one softer , cheaper Goodyear on the back, GA Plus. Soft compound and pretty bog standard tread pattern. I don't think they would last long but show good wear and traction.

I came around acorner last night , 5km from home, after a 210km drive, and the Ducaro's just DID NOT want to turn! felt like I was steering but the car wasn't turning... wasn't a sharp corner or anything...

I have a mix of tyres on now but when the front Ducaro's wear out, I will get either Michelin or Toyo's (leaning towards japanese made Toyos) and a set of 5, so I can rotate them back to front frequently to maximise thier use. At the moment I am not rotating because the two rear wheels have different tread depths (one is newer) - this isn't an issue for me as it is FWD.
 
Every truck I had that came with Goodyears were awful. I was leasing them and they didn't get replaced till I bought my last lease. I only had 30k on them but got tired of sliding around in damp conditions. I sold them with a lot of tread on them. I bought a set of BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A tires. They're the same size as stock but since the truck is modified they do a good job.
 
Goodyear Eagle GTII - My old Ranger had these on it when I got it. They might have been the worst possible choice for a 2WD pickup. Traction was terrible. I don't know how many miles were on the tires since the truck already had them when I got it.

Continental ContiTrac - OEM tires on my current Ranger. It tore them up in no time. They lasted maybe 20,000 miles.

Sears Super Sport - It's no surprise these sucked. My dad owned my Ranger at the time and insisted on getting the cheapest tires he could for it. Traction was terrible. The truck would spin the tires very easily, even on dry pavement. They were trashed after 28,000 miles.
 
The second worst set of tires I've ever had were Dunlop 6000's or something like that. They were "H" rated tires that came on our Mazda MPV when it was new. They sucked in ever aspect of tire performance, but they were absolutely the harshest riding tires I've ever experienced. Every little imperfection in the road was immediately transmitted to the passengers and they were nothing short of bone jarring! I replaced them with a set of Yokohama Avid Tourings and the difference is night and day!
