I've seen small teams put pressure on a big one when they try to get a goal back, but that's a very dangerous situation as all your players are gathering in the enemy's field and it's really easy for the others to counterattack and catch you with your pants down.
These guys applied sustained pressure to the last minute and really made the Argentinians sweat. This is extremely rare. And it might actually impact Argentina's game against Egypt on Monday. It's not always easy to recover in three days.

Also, Croatia beat Portugal. I know Portugal advanced...but Croatia owned that game. Zero chance Portugal beats Spain if they get to that point.
