I bought Windows 7 home premium for a planned computer build. That project has been put on hold indefinitely. I have an emachines box running Vista and I was considering installing the Windows 7 on it. My concern is that the emachines mother board is limited to 2 GB of ram and is maxed out. I notice that most Windows 7 computers have at least 4 and a lot have 8 GB of ram. Is it worth the time and trouble to install the new OS on my old computer or should I just hang on to it until I am able to build my new box? Does 7 require a lot of ram?
