Any difference between the Wix black filters vs the white and black ones. I see rockauto has a good deal on the white and black ones which is different than black ones at my local bumper to bumper. Same part number. Thanks guys!

The black and white ones (the Pro-Tec ones, I think) are fairly similar but not the same as the regular Wix. I believe nitrile ADBV and maybe not quite as many pleats. Still a quality filter. Here's Wix's website comparing them. I'd not hesitate to use them.

Thats about as confusing as when i named my red car "blue" years ago. My oldest was 4 at the time and would tell her pre-k teacher "no...daddys red car is blue"...oops.

The ProSelect filters have a different part number than the Wix main line.

Yes some of the Wix, which are normally black, come in white too. Also, the NAPA Gold for my Volvo 240, which is equivalent to the Wix black can, does not have a silicone ADBV. It's nitrile rubber. That's the only reason I don't buy them for my Volvo. Filter sits horizontally, so I much prefer a silicone ADBV.

The stock photo of the 57356 is white, but recent-production Wix 57356 is black, like my April 2016 production 57356 on my car now.

Sorry. Most or the regular wix/Napa gold filters are black. There are a few white ones but they are the same as the black ones. I.e. You can't tell what line of filter it is by color alone.
