what's the difference between the black wix and the white wix?

I know some are the XP version which are black, and also referred to as rock catchers, but they still have black wix filters that don't say XP, then also have the same part number in the white version. what gives?

I have never seen their white filters boxed, usually just bulk jobber packs. I am not talking about their Protec line either.

The white PROTEC line is pure filth. See most of the ones I’ve cut apart. Made in Mexico and quality sucks. No WIX for me; Donaldson and OG ULTRA.

yes I have seen those and I think they are identical to the regular line that is black.,, The regular line non-protec for my car which is 57356 comes in both black and white.

The donaldson version is 20 microns nominal.
