Wix now seems to put the date code on the box rather than the filter itself

I just got a Napa Platinum 47055 (Wix XP 57055XP), Subaru filter and noticed there was no date code on the top of the can where they usually put it

It took me a minute to find the date code on the box. It's 8 months old, which is more than ok for a less-common application and with pandemic-induced disruptions

Date code is 07-20-20

It most likely applies to other Wix filters, too, not just the ones Napa reboxes

huh... just looked at the newest Wix I have on hand... dated 041620 on the dome end... it is an "actual" wix...

so about 3 months before mine was made

They probably made the change sometime during the 2nlate spring/early summer
