WIX, NAPA GOLD or SUPERTECH?

Hello and good morning Webfors. I have been watching and noticing that the FACTORY INSTALLED MOPAR FILTERS are what look to be PUROLATORS. I hear some are made here in the U.S.A. I have 5 WIX 51356 filters left so after those are used, may use the other 2 ST 7317'S i have.

p.s. we use nothing but CHAMP LABS FILTERS at my work and no problems with them yet other than the leaking seam on the ford escape. Ford rebuilt the engine and CHAMP LABS paid for the rebuild.

Ive used Super Tech oil filters when autocrossing. no problems.

Thanks for the advice dsmdriver2588! Do you or anyone here know if the current factory installed mopar filters are PUROLATORS?

Yes, they are.

I use the MO-090 Mopar Filter that I get at Walmart is a Purolator.

Yeah, was at the wal mart this morning and saw the mopar filters do look like purolators. Looked at a bottle of 5qt jug of HD30 oil and bottom of the bottle says Prestige Packaging. Whats that about?

5qt jug of HD 30 was Super Tech oil so ya know.

I have been annoyed that the denso filters for my wife's scion are now made in china.

Might take a look at a Super Tech filter on the next run.

The Super Tech is also Chinese.

For Toyota cartridge filter applications, use either Wix XP (Poland) or Mahle (Austria)
