WIX inline fuel filter

Been running WIX 33299 / Napa Gold 3299 filters in my boat for 20 years. This new ones I bought says made in China instead of the usual USA. I'm pretty picky about my boat. Do you think there is any reason for concern or send it?

I do know that the clear ones that say made in Isreal do not hold up to our California gas. They melt and warp

My beloved Autolite inexpensive Copper, MADE in USA Spark Plug that after trying other brands was the only plug my picky old 1997 Harley I purchased new in 1997 liked.

The made in USA I used for 25 years sadly went from USA to MEXICO to CHINA the last few years.
I hate it, MAKES me sick! It even has a inexpensive "feel" to the threads when I hold it however, it ran the same in my old picky bike so go figure....

And NOW with the FIRST BRANDS / Fram, Autolite Chapter 11, My picky Harley may never run the same as my plugs may be no more?
Such shame what has happened to US production. When and IF we have problems with China we gonna be in a mess! We in a mess NOW have you seen the empty once FRAM Walmart displays...

The concern at least in my garage is the rubber fuel hoses hardening prematurely rather than the metal filter not working. I too use the WIX 3/8" metal inline filter feeding a Holley 4bbl 1850.

I use the specific SAE J30R9 fuel injection hose which lasts much longer than the cheaper SAE J30R6 or J30R7.

About 15 years ago I went to the Harley dealer to get a coil for my brothers 1975 Sportster. We went through all the boxes in the parts dept. and every single coil had "Made in China" molded on it. Just ordered one online 'cause I wasn't going to pay dealer markup for the Chinese one in a Harley box.
