WIX 57173 5K mi IS250

This little guy came out of my IS250 after just over 5k miles. It was filtering M1 3qt/4qt mix of M1 20/30 wt. I stared at it long and hard and came to a conclusion that this filter came out new. Lucky for me, I can put it back in, so I did for another 5k with some Pennzoil Platinum 10w30.

I've got 3 of those from O'Reilly that are going into the Camrys on the next few changes.

One is a real Wix and the other two are Microgards.

The one thing I like about cartridge style filters is that you can inspect them going in and coming out of service easily.

I think some manufacturers do a better job on them for that reason.
