Wix 51515 Cut Open. After 57KM...

This filter was on a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan for 10 Days and 57KM. I replaced the valve cover gasket about 4 days ago. Picking off lots of sludge from the inside. Previous filter was a OCOD PH16, I'm not going to bother cutting that one. This is my first filter cutting so please be gentle and not bite. I am definitely not as good as Car51

4QTs QS Defy 10W30
1Qt Pennzoil Platinum 5W30
250ML Rislone Concentrate

Looks pretty good. When I replaced the intake manifold gasket on my van I sent a much larger wave of junk into the filter.

That's not too bad. I would say mines pretty nasty for only 57KM. Going to buy some Napa Silver 31515s tomorrow, and another case of Pennzoil Conventional 5w30 at Walmart if its still $13.88. What if they don't got anymore? Castrol GTX 5w30 4.4L for 13.99 at Canadian Tire?

I would check out the Vancouver walmart as it seems to sell out the slowest. I found Pennzoil Conventional and Quaker State Conventional on shelf long after the sales. Just look for the 4.73L (5 quart) jugs.

I was there actually two days ago, the one on Grandview Hwy. Only Castrol 4.4L it was like $14ish. I'll check Langley and New West today.

Queensboro only has Pennzoil Conventional 5w20 and Platinum 5w30 at 28.88

I found one Pennzoil Conventional 5w30 at Queensborough then went to Guildford for the last box hidden behind all the 10W30.

I would run the next oil change for 500 miles, with LOTS of wide open throttle.
