Howdy folks,

Quick back story, I have a 2004 Acura MDX touring with a code PO113 (Intake Air Temperature Sensor) Opened the hood and inspect the sensor and wiring and notice the wiring is cut. My question is I need advice on how to repair the wire, I have a few pics of the cut wire...Thanksm

I use either heat shrink butt connectors or the bare connectors with the marine grade heat shrink. You will need a heat gun or small torch for either of these options as well as a good crimping tool.

Not sure I would use this.
May I ask why? They show to make a good physical connection of the wires, then slide the connector with the low-temp solder over the connection. Once it flows into the already-good physical connection, the solder's main purpose is to finish securing, not make the electrical connection. The ends of the connector then provide a waterproof seal.

What am I overlooking?
