Wiper Recommendations

Rain-X beam blades have outlasted any other wiper I have ever used or seen anyone else use.

I like Bosch Icons. They work well, last about 2 years outside 24/7 but are a little pricey. I recommend an AAP coupon!

I'm glad you had a good experience with Trico beam blades. I had a different experience. I put the Tricos on a 2003 Acura MDX, only because they were on sale, and they squeaked like crazy from the get go. Even during extremely heavy rain, they would chatter and squeak incessantly. Have replaced them with the top of the line Michelin Rain X (which come with a wipe you put on the windshield, then wipe off and then let the wipers run dry for 3 to 5 minutes), which have been completely quiet and never chatter. Will never buy Trico again.

Same experience here with Trico conventional blades on a 1996 Caprice (back when it was nearly new). With other vehicles, notably the older style Caprice/Impala, no issues.
