I get great service from Dr. Ho's Universal Fit wiper inserts. Only $1.95 in the Dollar General auto parts section.

Not sure why Bosch Icons are so popular, I never got those to last more than 6 months.

I didn't know the Trico Titan was out yet! I heard about them, but I haven't actually seen them for sale yet anywhere! Are they replacing the Ultra, or are they in addition to the Ultra?

I like Bosch or RainX. Both last the same to me, a few years. Usually replace when the frames look bad.
For the back of my Liberty and Cherokee, they have to be from the dealer. Still only $8 so not any more expensive. Tried aftermarket ones there and they just don't fit the glass contour well. For the front I've found that they wipe better when they're on sale.

+3 Agree 100%. RainX Latitude are the only aftermarket blade that fits VW as good as OE and last a lot longer than OE.

I agree with you on the regular Rain X Latitude wiper blades... The newer ones with the water repellency are not very good in my experience... That stuff is not helpful. Smeared a bit and caused blades to jump around too

They're available at O'Reilly. Haven't seen them anywhere else.

I buy cheap no-name beam wipers like "Windex" and "Simoniz" for $3-5 each and they last about 14-18 months. I replace as soon as they start to streak or skip. Can't complain about the value. I do keep my windows clean, often. I go through a lot of Invisible Glass and microfiber towels. Commuting into the Sun's light is no fun with a dirty windshield.
