Windshield Wiper Fluid

They use to use methanol in the regular -20F blue stuff. Might be on the outs though with all the green push and replaced with isopropyl? But that too is not much good when it's really cold as the methanol evaporates too fast with wind. They add the propylene glycol to the super cold stuff I think along with methanol.

DIY fluid any good? 1 Gallon distilled water + 1 OZ Dawn dish soap. Others?

I don't use Rain-x. Fantastic in the rain but attracts dust in dry weather that is hard to wash off. Blinding drivinginto the sun. I went to a lot of trouble to get the Rain-x off of my windshield.
The prestone yellow stuff is great. Resists re-freezing and cuts through bugs and junk.
