"God Mode" comes in handy also.

Windows Vista (32bit only)/7/8 "God Mode"
- Create new folder on desktop
- rename folder to the following:
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

It's generally from people like myself who are not very computer savvy and were comfortable with Windows 7 (and XP).

I'm sure computer geeks will love this new system but most of us don't want to invest the time to learn a new and different system....

I am a Project manager/sometimes developer of web applications and hated Windows8. I moved recently from XP Pro to Win7 to run a SSD drive and have 8gib of ram on an older machine.

I see little benefit for my line of work moving to that new OS. I virtualize Windows8 to do quick testing and die in pain with it.

Well I tried the program that the OP posted and I'm VERY impressed with what it did to Windows 8 for me.

Made the machine useable for what I do. Everything is back to the ways that I'm used to.

Hated the Xbox music player.

Hated the Metro interface.

Hated all the extra key strokes just to do SIMPLE tasks.

Prevented me from having to buy another copy of Windows 7. I was getting ready. Win 8 was that bad to me. It made my wife return her new laptop and get one with Windows 7.

Thanks to the OP for the heads up!
