Will these roloc discs spark?

I want to grind the exhaust ports clean on my boat. Engine. Not totally sure if the vortec heads are iron or aluminum.

I use these things to clean the rust ring around my toilet bowl. Never used them on metal though.

I’d say generally no. That style of cookie doesn’t spark. If you spin the heck out of and lay into a Ferrous object maybe a few tiny sparks will happen.

Guessing iron on a boat...never seen stock AL heads in normal marine applications.

We have those at work and anytime I’m cleaning anything they spark. The brown ones do as well and the sand paper ones too.
