Some sites load a special mobile friendly site if you access them from a tablet/cellphone etc.

Will bitog ever be implementing this?

I can do bitog on my phone if I block all the ads and sponsors because the massive flash ads beat my phone up and dont display properly anyway.

BUT I hate firefox (on my phone) which is the only browser I've found could block the massive ads that lag my phone out.
(translation the ads run at 1000% speed and phone is unresponsive)
Tapatalk support would be nice too.

It displays and works exactly the same on my Sprint HTC EVO as it does from my Laptop. I see no reason for a mobile version. I personally hate the mobile versions of any website i tried it on. (eBay for example)

Try. Google chrome I have it and its by far the best I've had dolphin opera fire fox maxthon ect sect
Chrome is the best works great on my phone

Mobile version would be great or if they could add Tapatalk functionality (i use this app to visit all my forums and it really helps as it gives you a text version of the content which is faster over 3g).

BITOG uses forum software called UBB.threads (look at the very bottom of the screen for the credit and link). It'd be nice if the forum software itself featured either apps for Android/ iOS **or** a specific feature for detection and layout for mobile browsers.

I HATE mobile sites. So much less functionality, and its another thing to have to be familiar with.

BITOG loads perfectly on my iphone.

I don't know.

I know that i have no intentions of becoming "mobile friendly."

I don't have a smartphone. I have a dumbphone. And that suits me just fine. Less is more.

Don't know and couldn't care less. I still listen to CD's so that tells you what century I live in.

Not that long ago, I was content rollerblading with my "walkman" -- a portable casette player.

But then someone informed me in no uncertain terms that being seen in public with a walkman was a form of "birth control."

Yes, i like the old simple stuff that still works well enough for me.

what functions do you lose? I use tapatalk for the other forums and I can do everything as if i was on the regular forum. There isn't much to get familiar with either. Once you click on the app ,search for your forums and then it saves them. Next go around you got all your forums on one page for you to choose from.

I think the biggest difference is if the user is on 3g or 4g. I'm on 3g(thank you sprint) and some websites are hard to load. I have seen the same websites on 4g and not have any problems.

+1

If anything, I PREFER using Tapatalk 2 on my phone to surf other forums vs. logging in on my computer. I can actually surf faster on my phone and read relevant posts that I'm interested in, in less time.
