Will we ever have a mobile site for phone tablet use?

Something smartphone friendly would be amazing

I find this site really friendly with my Kindle Fire.
Pretty much text only with no huge graphics.
I've always liked it simple and to the point.

Site works perfectly on my iphone. Personally I hate mobile sites on iphone, since they work and display so well (less flash).

bad idea. i absolutely despise "mobile" versions of websites. there's a reason i have a phone that supports full html.
websites i can zip around on all day and find exactly what i need, seem to be entirely crippled on their mobile counterparts.

1 exception. my local newspaper. You have to pay for the regular site, mobile version is free.....

Same here.....I use the HTC WildFire S and the site works great....granted, I do the majority of my posts from home.....but browsing is OK on the smartphone....

But yes, the biggest problem I have, is the Recent Topics column on my Wildfire haha.....yea, takes a lot to swish the finger, and re-center the page every time I reload a page

It displays perfectly on my iphone - no issues. Why would I want it to go away?

The only problem I have viewing bitog on my smartphone is when entering text, it often scrolls down below, so I can't see what i'm typing or have typed.

It shrink the amount of usable space on your screen. I use 100 post per page setting and I end up seeing an empty left side for 80% or more of the screen for nothing.

This site works fine on my Windows Phone (Mango 7.5).

I have some non smartphones that can't run the scripts on here and a mobile site would be nice when I'm carrying one of those.

I'm sure not everyone uses a smartphone, or always uses a smartphone, even if they have one.
