i got it as a gift from my wife and little son :-)

it seems and feels much like wera drivers when comparing quality. the handle is perfect for mmy hand. but anybody knows how the tips are? steel quality and so on?

they are made in Germany.

thanks

I have a few. I really like their tiny precision drivers, which I use often, The big ones are more comfortable in the hand than the hard plastic cast handles, but that has never been that important to me.

I did notice some chrome chipping upon initial hard use of the flat drivers at the tip. No worse for wear though...

Like 'em.

I'm a big fan of their screwdrivers, mainly because their Phillips tips will work on JIS screws as well without cam out. They seem really well-made and the slotted tips have been very durable for me as well.

I've had the 12 piece soft-handle set for several years now--very impressed.

Yup, those specific Wiha drivers are well liked by many members of Garage Journal. I personally haven't owned them, but I have used other Wiha drivers, in addition to Witte and Wera.

About my favorite tool manufacturer but my use is electronics. Their 7" "Soft Grip Adjustable Pliers" is one tool I really like available no where else.

We have a set of Wiha's electrically insulated drivers at work, they are delightful to use with those soft contoured grips. Way pricier than typical Craftsman-grade stuff. We joke that they're the finest drivers money can buy.

My experience with both Wiha and Wera is that the Wiha feels more comfortable when working with them, but the Wera tips are sturdier.

This is only a little nit-pick, we standardized on Wiha because of the comfort.

Your Wife and Son have very good taste..

Great tools, I especially like their screwdrivers. Their Pozi-drive and precision sets have been with me through way too many British car adventures. Very comfortable handles and the tips seem very durable.
