Lol, well keeping the wife happy is "priceless"! They are a unique vehicle and if its what she wants, and you've got the money, why not. They do have pretty good resale value anyways. Buying a used one in near new condition costs about the same with less warranty left and may have been beat on.
It must interesting though, being a marketing guy and just pulling numbers out of the air for those options to maximize profit...
Our base no options Outback must have similar mechanical complexity and has almost all of the options(just no heated wheel, fancy paint, alloy wheels, remote starter, or garage door opener), and adds a built in roof rack, for less than the Wrangler base price, but it doesn't do all the fun Jeep Wrangler things either. I'm sure you two will enjoy it.
