Why is my brake fluid so dirty?

I didn't know that.

Yup, even the cheapest store brand such as AAP, WearEver or SuperTech. These are all I use for the DD's. Buy'em on sale! Never an issue!

Give me the simplified version. I was just curious.

From my personal observations, dirty stuff always floats to the top. When I bleed my brakes, I keep bleeding them until some new clean fluid flows into the bottle. Once I am done, I always notice that the clean fluid is always at the bottom of the bottle. When you tried to exchange the fluid using the turkey baster method, it probably did not suck any of the old fluid out of your master cylinder and this is why you see dirtier in the fluid tank now. Also, brake fluid does not stay transparent forever. If you flush all of it, it will still turn darkish pretty soon.
