Why does the ticketmaster app suck so bad on android?

I am very confused when I checked in early feb, why the apple version gets a 4.8 rating, and the android gets a 2.3.

I thought the reviews were people that did not know how to use their phone. No, they are correct, the app sits there with a grey spinning circle anytime you open it and click sign in. You have to force it closed, open it back up, swipe to "My Account" then click the sign in button on that page. Otherwise each and every single time it will not work it just sits and spins.

Why would they not fix the app when they are getting that level of feedback. Why isn;t there a validation where google can pull an app below a certain rating to force these worthless companies into fixing it?

At a local even this app cause me much delays, I had to resort to opening my tickets in chrome after I disabled the app. Otherwise chome would just keep flopping me back over to the app.

Ditto on Ticketmaster sucking. Despite that, Android is a mess. Imagine buying a laptop running the latest version of Windows and 18 months later, the laptop maker decides they don't want to support your device and you can no longer get security updates for your laptop.

unfortunately, it seems like there are lots of companies that either just forget that they even HAVE an android app, or don't care to maintain the one they do have, "because everyone uses apple"
you can pry my non-fruit phone from my COLD DEAD HANDS.
I can't help it that My Fiancee, her mother, and sister, My Mother, and Brother, most of my aunts and Uncles and Cousins have all gone to the Fruity side when it comes to phones and tablets.

and they all try to convince me to switch. I had some carrier issues with my new Pixel 10 last summer. " You should have just gotten an iPhone" she says....
