Why aren’t plane front sections shaped more like a bullet?

Does anyone know where I can get my vortex generator re-wound? I burned it up last week!
Always had to send the new guys to the electric shop for a new vortex generator, or to supply for a bucket of prop wash or 100 ft. of flite-line.
Least we not forget the you-hoo test when inspecting the engines.
