Why are highways in the US paved with concrete?

Yeah that's it Alfred B. But it was the worse northbound 295 bridge that had problems. They did brace up the southbound bridge too but it was not as bad as the northbound side.

Well if you that was the case Supton then them WORLD Champions failed miserably at it the first time. No two ways around it.

What is funny is that part where it mentions Interstate 64 signs saying east while it actually was headed due west in the Hampton Roads area. I saw that feature early on when I was 6 yrs old while studying the map of Virginia. I thought to myself that made no sense whatsoever. What should have been done to alleviate this problem was when Rte 44 was discontinued the interstate 64 should have taken over Rte 44's route from east Norfolk to the beachfront in Virginia Beach. Then have Interstate 664 take over Interstate 64's route from Suffolk to that major interchange in eastern Norfolk. But common sense did not rule the day there. Instead it was kept with 64 taking a short southward route then due west once into the city of Chesapeake towards Suffolk. Stupid.
