Who makes Ultra8 filters?

These were $3.61 at the local parts store. Supposed to be Subaru specific with the higher bypass, and they have a P style gasket too. No idea who makes them...

From Google sources they are made by the Altrom group which is a Thailand filter company I would have no doubt they're a quality filter.

Ultra 8 marketed by Altrom Auto Group who are owned by Genuine Parts Company (NAPA)

I've purchased these filters from AsianParts.ca for a Sentra 4cyl. and don't consider them shoddy, but they are not premium either.

They’ve been on backorder for like a hundred years at this point

I did buy it from Altrom. Was either these or Napa Proformer at almost double the cost

I have been using this brand for air and cabin filters for a while now.

When it says Altrom there may be another note that states the manufacturer. I've found Altrom listed at NAPA and notes it's Bosch or Mahle.

Whip city did one of these 5 yrs ago baseplate is a little different but good reference point.
