I would like to know what company makes a good quality "White lithium" grease? I wanted to use it for car door hinges, and many car maintenance books suggest using "White lithium" grease.

Is there a difference in quality between a spray, or the thick grease in the plastic tub?

Thanks in advance!

White grease can be of about any soap type Lith being most popular they contain ZN oxide or talc. Just look for a high drop point and a # 2 grade and that will cover your needs BUT white grease has no or not much AW/EP due to odor and color concerns so for chassis lube stick with a approved grease for that.

I use any lithium-based grease to lube the body on my cars. I use a small acid brush and thick grease in the plastic tub. I use it to lube the hinges, latches, and parking brake cables.

Where do you find Lubri-Plate? I was given an old tube. It is about gone, and seems to work better than anything else I have used in some applications.

I'm pretty sure I've sen it in my local NAPA store recently. But somtimes I remember things from 30 years ago better than I remember where I left my glasses.

Lubrication Enginners makes a white food grade grease 4025,in a tube, though its a aluminum complex it should work fine,,very good product in many apps,,,,,they make also in spray,,4059,,is also really good,,E-mail them for dealers.etc,,,,,,,,BL

RP make a brilliant alluminium complex grease, white if you please, but the purple stuff-colour makes it more distingtive.
