Not the LoJack setup or Onstar. Something that i install, can get real time location on a map,without getting texts with long. and lat. Oh and inexpensive.
 
I used to install asset trackers and payment protection devices.

never really worked on the tracking end of it. The recovery agent did that and he was really good at what he did.

hiding the antenna was the tricky part. Everything else was super easy.

Mostly just did payment protection devices. The GPS trackers required a monthly payment and my employer didn't like to pay me much less some outside company.
 
Buy an iphone for your car, keep it plugged in continuously, and make sure find my iphone is set-up.

JK, but honestly, I think LoJack might be your best bet even though you mentioned you don't want that.

I hear only a few cop cars have the tracking system and i'd rather be able to track it right away instead of calling them and waiting around for them to do what i can do.
