Who has their winter tires on already?

I always have one vehicle by mid October on snows as here everything is possible once October hits. So I put Nokian's on Tiguan (will replace them soon) just in case.
Put snows on Toyota on Tuesday and will do it on BMW probably sometimes in December when snow slopes get thicker and I start skiing.
In the spring I always keep one vehicle on snows until mid May.

Since 1995 when Tire Rack introduced bridgetone Blizzak series put them on all my car I owned until the present. The traction, stopping, cornering, peace of mind of having little help driving in slush, thick, icy weather conditions. Some said oh too much money, too much work on storing it,to install,to maintain etc etc I dont mind it serves me and my family well.

I put’em on last week. This will be the last winter for these. Next year I’ll look for something else.
And I have the winter set for the Civic(TOTALED) in my signature for sale. 195-65-15 AltiMAX Arctic(7/32nd tread). Mounted/balanced on steelies.
Steelies are: 5 X 114.3 w/67.+ mm hub center.

My dedicated winter car has them on all four corners. No more slipping and sliding... not that I push them to the limit.

My daughter's 200 and son's Optima SXL both have their snows on and are ready to go.
My company Escape is getting new Falken Wild Peak AT trails in the stock size next week. Thank you, ARI.

We didn't have a chance to shop for a winter tire/wheel package for the Stinger. If it's bad, my wife will either work from home or take the F-150.

Better question where I am is "who doesn't have them on yet?"

Just got a dump of about a foot of snow on Tuesday, and there's still plenty of snow and ice all around, even on the major arteries.

I put my snows on last week. My summer set(HT tires) are down to 6/32nds and with this autumn rain/wet leaves it was starting to get a little slippery.

Held off on the other cars until snow started coming down this weekend. I don’t mind installing them earlier but the firestone winterforces are pretty loud so I rather not have them on unless I needed them.

Center Bore on the Honda's are normally 64.1mm. Hyundai has a 67.1mm

Just checking for verification.

I put mine on beginning of the month, had a sunny day which beats putting them on when it rains or freezes..

next tuesday the forecast gives night time temperatures around freezing, I drive at night half my miles... daytime only a handful degrees warmer and rainy.

I usually do mine around thanksgiving. It usually stays 45 or colder 90% of the time at that point. We had a bit of snow Sunday morning then it was 60 a couple days early in the week and this morning it’s in the 20s. Central indiana has Midwest weather where it can be unpredictable family lives on not main roads with long gravel driveways that don’t get cleared either so you want to go anywhere you need a decent tire if there has been snow or ice

Thanksgiving week is my target date for getting my snows on. The all seasons totally suck in the snow...can't even get up my driveway with them on. Snow tires are superior in traction (and ride, too, but not noise). Front wheel drive with dedicated snows? 4WD not needed.

It's not the deep snow that is the problem..it's the constant dustings and 1 inch snows that make our roads treacherous. That is where my dedicated snows make a huge difference.

This weekend I'll put them on, the odd overnight snow is still melting on the roads but it will stick one of these nights. I actually have all-season tires with good tread depth(usually I have summer tires on) so its not the end of the world to drive in a bit of snow but I prefer the winter tires for sure.

Yeah, the Conti's had us not super concerned about the truck, but since it was in at the dealer yesterday for its oil change and 50K service, I had them put them on at the same time, it only made sense.

I usually do around thanksgiving, but usually trying to go as long as possible on the all seasons. Less noise etc. But now have a garage and can pop on the night before, plus i am still WFH, and the kids don’t go to school if the weather is threatening (you’d think a Nh school wouldn’t be concerned about it, but they now cancel for about any reason).

Wife doesn’t want snows either, she seems to think she is ok on this set of all seasons. We’ll see if she still thinks the same later. I’m still looking for a cheap set of rims all the same.

Went on the QX60 November 13th. Did my wife's FWD Rogue 2 weeks ago. Flex will wait a bit longer because the snows are not exactly blessed with much tread anymore...and not looking to spend $800 on a new set right now.

I put the winters on my daily driver about 2 weeks ago and here in Western WA. The summer tires were starting to suffer as the daily high's drops below 50's and low's into the 30's.
