Who else doesn't use tire dressings?

If someone pays for a detail they expect tire dressing.

I use Adam's Wheel & Tire Cleaner on the sidewalls when they turn brownish from brake dust,

Works well - not too glossy for a finish, and doesn't fling-off.

I loathe that shiny junk. If i was going to use something, I would use Ballistol.

I’ll use it from time to time but use a dull shine. There’s way more to upset me, and worry about than tire shine. I’ve never had a set of tires wear out before the tread because I treated my tires.

I love it, but you have to find the right one. I like a deep black look with a hint of gloss. Not too greasy. I use Blackfire tire dressing - doesn't attract dust and won't turn the tires black or brown. My tires get all kinds of scraped up from rock crawling, so the tire shine actually helps them look better. I apply it with a brush.

I like the Meguiars stuff. Looks nice and smells like grape.
