Who do you prefer for flying and why?

I've traveled for years, and although there were a few issues along the way, things didn't really get bad until the last 20 years or so. It's such a different experience on every airline that I will no longer fly anywhere. I despise being loaded in like cattle, shoehorned into a tiny seat next to a smelly fat person, and subjected to poor service from airline and airport employees. Not to mention the shakedown by the TSA.

Back in the day, Braniff and Ozark airlines were pretty good. We flew all over the southwest US, as well as into South America on Braniff without an issue, and their planes were always comfortable.

The last few times I've flown, United and American by far gave the worst possible service. Southwest and Frontier were decent, but suffer from same "passengers are cattle" mentality that all airlines now seem to have.

I have a love-hate relationship with Southwest. They have cheap tickets and fly to many destinations, but I don't like the fellow passengers.

For international travel, the Asian airlines have some nice eye-candy serving you coffee. I haven't gone to south america but I hear their airlines have eye-candy, too. When you're flying coach for 12 hours, that's pretty much the only thing you have to look forward to.

Air Canada the rudest butch flight attendants. They don't have any concept of politeness or customer service.

I prefer to drive. Since I live in the Northeast this is easy enough to do since there are so many places that are within easy driving distance that I haven't visited yet.

I agree, Air Canada can be really rude, and can seem to go out of their way, Not to help!

As for Eye Candy,
I was once flying British Airways, Some of the flight attendants were down right Ugly!
I had taken Halcyon to get some zzzzz,s when this attendant grabed my arm to wake me, As I awoke, I saw this.....(I have to say this) Hag, with outlandish, corporate eye makeup starting me in the face. I screamed, and honestly, nearly lashed out with my Fist.
