Who All's Riding on New Year's Day?

Both the weather and my eye situation look like they will be preventing me from my traditional New Yr's Day ride. What about you?

Hard for me to look at the new Ducati sitting in garage with battery tender on it on New Yr's Day and not want to do a obligatory ride even if only up the road and around the patch and back.

Our annual 'Polar Bear' ride has been cancelled due to rain in the forecast and the 42 degree temp. I'm also tempted to go on a short ride...just because.

Not backing the Camry out of garage until Tuesday or Wednesday. Having cataract surgery on left eye 1/23 so I can get out on highways again. Happy New Year to you and all members.

Might take the Madass for a short run. Busy trying to get ready for a major polar plunge next week. Could have a run of 6 of 7 days getting or staying below Zero. Making up for almost non existent winter last year.

Temperatures are in the teens, there's snow and salt on the roads, and neither of my streetbikes have tires that get along with such cold temperatures. I might take the old KTM 550 MXC out for a quick run around the neighborhood, though..

I got out today for a while on the DR650, sunny and 40 degrees.

Put new front brakes on the '70 Shovelhead, welded up the broken coil bracket, and took a little ride in between snow flurries. Beautiful.

I rode 300km on New Years Day...it was a very pleasant summer day, sunny, a gentle breeze, 25 degrees (77F), and hardly any traffic
